As a ceramist I take a special interest in ordinary mass produced objects. I pick up things that have been forgotten and have ended up in the waste bin or at the flea market. Instead of expressing myself through creating new forms, I borrow, sample and replicate the shape of these non-valuable everyday objects. My aim is to give them a second chance.

I like to play with form, content and materials. Something happens when well known forms get reproduced in a different material, perhaps are given a new function, and of course presented in a new context.
